In the spotlight: Champion Kailey Skelton

From time to time we illustrate our spotlight series with works from accomplished women.

This month we showcase the talents of Kailey Skelton, an American racer who specializes in the extreme sport of downhill racing. With reaching speeds up to 80 mph on sketchy steep singletrack downhill terrain you won’t find many women doing this. There’s only a handful throughout the U.S.A. and Kailey stands out among the best. A couple of our RRM members had the opportunity to see her race in the Crafts & Cranks event in Big Bear, Ca. and we were awestruck in seeing women as professionals doing this line of work.

Originally from southern California and living in the O.C. Kailey shows a promising future in the wild world of mountain biking competitive racing. All eyes are on you Kailey and the Red Rose Mafia girls has your back! Keep winning those races girl!
